Currently, ZenCast doesn't offer a way to monetize your podcast directly through our platform, however, we're working on adding this as an option for the future.

We're quite strict in that we don't insert ads in or around your show ourselves, but that's not to say that you can't monetize your podcast while hosting with ZenCast. There are a few primary ways that you can do this:

  • Selling ads/sponsorships
If you go with the option of selling ads, doing this yourself can mean getting a much higher rate (multiple times higher) than for ads automatically sold/inserted into your show directly by some platforms. ZenCast also integrates with a monetization service called Podcorn. If you decide to go ahead and get set up with them, let us know any integration info they give you, and we can get things set up from our end.

  • Selling a product/service
This might include setting up affiliate commission deals for products that your listeners buy after hearing about them on your podcast.

  • Selling memberships to your private podcast
One option is Memberful, which allows you to sell subscription memberships to your private podcast feed. Check out the full details in their setup guide to learn more about getting your private podcast linked up for selling subscriptions.

  • Receiving donations from your audience
There are various donation sites and services that will allow your listeners to donate one-time or even donate a regular amount each month to support your show. You may be surprised that if you provide a valuable podcast, people may be happy to do this even though they're not getting anything extra in return other than the satisfaction of knowing they're helping you to keep going.
